Since our partnership with Second Harvest, we've been able to rescue hundreds of thousands of pounds of food. The impact of the food that we recover is absolutely amazing. We have a lot more people having to turn to food banks that are simply not able to make ends meet at the end of the month ... And we want to always let those people know that we're not here to judge. We just want to make sure that you have what you need to be able to feed your families.

There are two primary benefits. The first, of course, is that [rescued food] lowers our food costs. But the second I'd consider a better benefit — people eat better food. Everybody knows that fresh food is more expensive than dry goods and packaged foods. The majority of the food that we receive [from Second Harvest] is fresh and we get an opportunity to feed that to people here.

No waste, no hunger means continuing to grow our business sustainably while ensuring that our finished goods and the raw products that we use always sustain our communities and never become waste. Second Harvest supports our objective to continue to bring people together and unite them towards planet-friendly food.
