Community Event Volunteers – Various Locations

Do you enjoy engaging with the public and supporting a great cause? We’re looking for individuals to join our growing community of volunteers across the country to share their time, talent and experience to make a difference!

What you’ll do:‍

Community Event Volunteers help increase Second Harvest’s presence and impact at local events through activities such as:

• Event support with setup and tear-down
• Collecting food donations for local non-profit partners
• Running fun and informative activities to spread awareness about food waste
• Supporting fundraising efforts through 50/50 ticket sales
• Community outreach to promote Second Harvest’s mission and brand

Calling Campaign Volunteers – Virtual

Looking to volunteer from home? Throughout the year, we run a variety of calling campaigns and we need volunteers to support them.

What you’ll do:

• Steward donors and show appreciation for their support
• Engage with our non-profit agency network
• Connect with fundraising partners

These roles play a crucial part in building meaningful relationships, enhancing outreach efforts and driving the overall impact of Second Harvest’s mission.
