50/50 Raffle Ticket Sellers – Edmonton, AB

We’re looking for energetic and confident volunteers to join us for a fundraising event in support of Second Harvest!  

Second Harvest will be the proud sponsor of the Edmonton Oilers 50/50 at the game against the Boston Bruins on December 31, 2025, and we’re looking for volunteers to promote the sale of 50/50 tickets at the game. 

‍Location: Rogers Place, 10220 104 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB
Date: Wednesday, December 31, 2025
Shift Time: 4:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Age Requirement: 18+

Key Requirements:

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and moving around the arena
• Able to operate point-of-sale machines and/or guide buyers through online purchases (training provided!)
• Follow all Second Harvest and event protocols
• Available for the full shift
• Attend a mandatory virtual orientation (week of December 15)

Food Sort Team Lead – Etobicoke, ON

Are you passionate about reducing food waste and enjoy taking on a leadership role? We’re looking for Food Sort Team Lead volunteers to facilitate group food-sorting sessions and help ensure volunteers have an engaging, educational and meaningful experience at Second Harvest.

Location: Second Harvest, 120 The East Mall, Etobicoke, ON, M8Z 5V5

Dates & Times:

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays
• Shift Options: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
• Frequency: 2–3 shifts per month
• Commitment: Minimum 3 months, with potential to extend
